Condos are the latest craze for staying in during vacations all over Canada, the US, and in Europe. Now why would anyone choose to stay in condos, when you always have had the traditional option of staying in hotels any where you choose to go during the holidays?
You see, condos offer an option to large groups of people/families to stay together during vacations. This option for large groups to stay together is generally not available in hotels of the traditional variety, which book rooms on a per person and per day basis.
Most of the condos have nowadays become a niche business opportunity for people to invest money in and offer huge returns on investment in condo hotels. Most condo hotels have come up near beach resorts or other places of tourist interest.
These have entire multiple condos built in hotel towers. A condo forms an entire apartment. Therefore, when on vacation, you enjoy the same comforts that you do while you stay in your own home. Moreover, the stay is inclusive of charges for all hotel services, inclusive of parking, maid service, catering, and tourism. Note that these are traditionally available at a separate tariff as umbrella services in a reputed traditional hotel.
An important feature of staying in condos is that you stay as a whole family or more than one in a condo resort during your vacation. In a hotel room in contrast, only either you alone or two persons can stay. If you are a rich investor in the specific condo hotel, you and your family get to stay in a condo in it every year for a month during the peak vacation season.
To do that however, you need to reserve the condo at least four months in advance. You need to make a lump sum payment for the whole month's stay in a condo in the hotel. It is extremely convenient for rich business people and their families to effect such an arrangement for the peak season vacation, although it may cost a small fortune.
So, what if you are one of those people who cannot afford to spend a small fortune to stay in a condo in a hotel? Do you not get to stay in a condo hotel? No, no, this is not at all true. You see, at the end of the peak vacation season, it would appear that condo hotel owners are out of business.
This may be what you would be made to think, with rich business men and their families returning back to their own homes, and the condos becoming empty for the entire off season period. See, condo hotel owners are not fools. They would always want to ensure a stream of business for their condo hotels.
Therefore, what they do is to offer the condos to people such as you on discounted rates during the off season. This way not only you get to stay in a condo at much cheaper rates, but even the hotel owners ensure business does not suffer. However, note that you definitely pay more than for a single room in a hotel.
